Privacy policy

Last updated: 29 October 2026

In short: we collect as little as we can. Our games don't use accounts, and we never ask for your name, email address or location. We don't sell your data and we don't run analytics or tracking tools of our own. Where our games show ads, Google does that, and asks for your consent where the law requires it.

Who we are

Dosh Games (“we”, “us”) is a small independent studio that makes casual games for phones and computers. We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at doshgames1974@gmail.com.

What this policy covers

This policy covers:

Each game also has its own privacy policy with the exact details for that game, such as which data its online features use. If the game's policy and this one differ, the game's policy applies to that game.

This website

You can use this website without telling us who you are. The public pages don't use cookies, analytics, ads or tracking tools, and they don't load content from other websites.

Like every web server, ours receives some technical data with each request: your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, and the browser information your browser sends. We use it only to deliver the pages, to keep the server secure and to fix problems. It's stored in technical logs for a limited time and isn't used to identify you or build a profile.

Our games

Our games are designed to work with as little data as possible.

Stored only on your device

Your progress, scores, settings and in-game items are saved on your device and aren't sent to us. Uninstalling a game removes them.

Online features

Some games have online features, such as top lists. They talk to our own servers (for example fds.doshgames.com), always over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. They use a random player id made by the game (not linked to your name, device or any account), the nickname you choose, your game results, and your IP address (used briefly to protect the server from abuse). Nicknames and results are shown publicly on the top lists. The games let you see this data and delete it at any time; the game's own policy explains how.

Ads

Some of our games show ads from Google AdMob. Google may collect your device's advertising ID, an approximate location based on your IP address, information about the ads you see and tap, and diagnostic data, to show and measure ads and to prevent fraud. Where the law requires it (for example in the EU, the UK and some US states), the game asks for your consent before any ad is requested, and you can change your choice later in the game's settings. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. Google acts as an independent controller of this data; see how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Purchases

In-game purchases are handled entirely by your platform's store, such as Google Play, the Apple App Store or the Microsoft Store. We never see your payment details. The game only learns which items you own, so it can unlock them.

What our games don't do

YouTube

We publish trailers and puzzle solution videos on our YouTube channel, Dosh Games.

By using YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google handles your data under the Google Privacy Policy. If you ever connect a Google account to a tool of ours, you can remove its access at any time on your Google account’s third-party connections page.

When you email us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to answer you, and, for data requests, to carry out what you asked. We don't add you to any mailing list.

Who we share data with

We don't sell personal data, and we don't share it for advertising of our own. Data is handled by others only in these cases:

Google and other providers may process data outside your country, including outside the EU/EEA. They do so under their own policies and the legal safeguards they provide, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep data

Security

Our website and game servers use encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and we keep the data we store to a minimum. No system is perfectly secure, but if something happens that puts your data at risk, we'll act quickly and inform you and the authorities where the law requires it.

Children

Our games and this website aren't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, for example as a nickname in one of our games, contact us and we'll delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the EU/UK GDPR or California law), you may have the right to:

The legal basis for running our website and our games' online features is our legitimate interest in providing the services you choose to use. The legal basis for personalised ads is your consent. Most requests can be handled directly in our games. For anything else, email us; we'll answer within 30 days. We may ask for information, such as a game's player id, to find your data and make sure it's yours.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top. If a change matters to how your data is used, we'll also make it clear in our games or on this website.
