Terms of service

In short: enjoy our games for your own fun, play fair, pick a decent nickname, and don't copy or resell our work. Purchases go through your app store and its refund rules. Nothing here takes away the rights consumer law gives you.
About these terms
These terms apply when you play a game published by Dosh Games (“we”, “us”), use this website or its subdomains, or watch our videos. By installing or playing one of our games, you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use our games.
The store you got a game from (for example Google Play, the Apple App Store or the Microsoft Store) has its own terms, which also apply. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.
Using our games
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and play our games on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not:
- copy, sell, rent, or redistribute our games or their content, except as the store you got them from allows;
- decompile, modify or reverse-engineer a game, except where the law allows it;
- use cheats, bots, modified versions or exploits to gain an advantage or to affect other players;
- interfere with or overload our servers, or try to access data that isn't yours.
Purchases and in-game items
- Purchases are made through your platform's store, and its payment and refund rules apply. Ask the store for refunds; we can't issue them ourselves.
- Coins, themes and other in-game items are part of the licence to play the game. They have no cash value and can't be exchanged for money or transferred to someone else.
- Items you buy are linked to your store account where the store supports it, so you can restore them on a new device. Coins and progress are stored on your device and are lost if you uninstall the game, unless the game says otherwise.
- If something you paid for doesn't work, contact us and we'll help.
Online features and nicknames
Some games have online features, such as public top lists. Your nickname and results are visible to other players. When you use them:
- choose a nickname that isn't offensive, hateful, sexual, misleading, or someone else's name or trademark, and doesn't contain personal information;
- only submit results you really played.
We may remove nicknames and results, or block a player from the online features, if these rules are broken. Online features are provided free of charge and may be changed or switched off; see Changes to our games.
Ads
Some games show ads from Google. We don't control the content of each ad, but we use the settings available to us to keep ads suitable. Where the law requires it, the game asks for your consent before showing personalised ads. See our privacy policy for details.
Our videos
Our trailers and puzzle solution videos on YouTube are free to watch, share and embed using YouTube's own features. Please don't re-upload them, or present them as your own. Watching them on YouTube is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.
Our content
Our games, videos, characters, artwork, music, texts, the Dosh Games name and logo, and this website belong to Dosh Games or our licensors, and are protected by copyright and other laws. These terms don't give you any rights to them beyond what's described here. You're welcome to share screenshots and short clips of your own play, as long as it's not presented as made or endorsed by us.
Other services
Our games and website link to, or rely on, services run by others, such as app stores, Google AdMob and YouTube. They are covered by their own terms and policies, and we're not responsible for them.
Changes to our games
We keep improving our games, so features and content may change. We may also need to change, pause or stop online features, such as top lists, for example for maintenance, security or if a game is retired. Your game will keep working offline whenever possible, and items you paid for will keep working as long as the game is available to you, as required by consumer law.
Warranty and liability
We make our games with care, but we can't promise they'll always be free of bugs or available without interruption. To the extent the law allows, our games and website are provided “as is”, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data or lost profits.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability or rights that can't be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer, such as your rights if digital content you paid for is faulty, or our liability for intent or gross negligence.
Ending these terms
You can stop using our games at any time by uninstalling them; you can also delete your online data in the game first. If you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, we may block your access to the online features. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as Our content and Warranty and liability) continue to apply.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts of that country. Please contact us first, so we can try to solve the problem together.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we add new games or features. We'll publish the new version on this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll also make it clear in our games or on this website. If you keep playing after a change, the new terms apply.
